Foody Parrot started with a simple idea: what if social media focused on shared experiences rather than individual posts? What if everyone reacted to the same conversation starter?
Our Story
It all started at home. I was eating while the kids watched a food challenge on TV—people competing to eat different foods of the same color. While they were having fun, it felt like food was being wasted. That moment sparked a thought: there had to be a better way for people to express themselves through food, with more meaning and purpose.
We began gisting about everything food-related—from farm to fork. We talked about the challenges farmers face in producing food, the journey food takes before it reaches our plates, and how little people often understand that process
Those conversations led us to create food-based games that make learning fun and meaningful. That thought process, those conversations, and the desire to connect people through food are what gave birth to the FoodyParrot app.
